Lock In A Date

It may seem early, but believe us when we say now is the time to start speaking with our Function & Events team about your 2019 Christmas Party - especially if you have a specific date you want to secure.

Something to take note of: Fridays in December are often the first to get snapped up, so if your Christmas Party depends on this day of the week, talk to us now!

Set A Budget

There’s no point planning out the entire event before having a clear an understanding of what $$$ you’re working with. Are you a larger corporate business with over 100 employees to cater for? Are partners also invited? Or are you a small team just looking for a place to unwind and celebrate the year that was?

With a range of unique spaces and packages available, our Functions & Events team can tailor a Christmas Party to suit most budgets. The annual Christmas Party doesn't have to break the bank. If the budget is a little tight this year, consider our Mezzanine bar that accommodates walk-in groups. No prepayment required - just set up a tab, and when that eventually runs out everyone can pay for their own drinks.

Select a style

Are you celebrating with a long lunch, a cocktail party with Canapés or a combination of both? Do you need a microphone or a projector to make speeches or showcase a big announcement? Whether you want an exclusive space to celebrate the silly season or want to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of our buzzing dining room, Little Valley has it all.

Set a theme

Event themes have the power to create excitement, set the tone for your event and ultimately make it even more memorable. The key is to select a theme that aligns with your colleagues and their sense of fun (as well as getting a tick of approval from the boss).

The theme should also be suitable to the time of year and when we say that, we mean to keep in mind it's the start of a Queensland summer. As good as our air con is, an 'Ugly Sweater' dress code probably isn't going to go down as well as a ‘White Linen’, ‘Masquerade’ or ‘Hawaiian Christmas’ theme. No idea is too big or too crazy for us - we love big ideas and it’s always a fun challenge to bring it to life!

Make It Fun

Sounds like a no-brainer, it is a party after all! Once your food is confirmed and your drinks package planned, take some time to think about what are you’re going to do to keep everyone entertained throughout the afternoon. Are you organising a Secret Santa? Are you having entertainment? Are you giving out awards?

You could run a Christmas Movie Trivia or better yet, a Quiz based around the funnier aspects of your workplace. The Photo Booth Guys are one of our preferred suppliers for events and are a great business to enlist to capture your festivities hour by hour. Or something a little different, you could order disposable cameras and let your colleagues capture the night themselves.

PÍJIU GARDEN / 啤酒花园

Capacity: 80 cocktail

The Pijiu Garden on the mezzanine is our sleek, open-air courtyard. With a combination of lounges and cocktail furniture, the space makes for a relaxed, yet contemporary setting in the stripped back warehouse


DINING HALL / 餐厅

Capacity: 150 cocktail. 90 seated.

High ceilings, custom-made furniture, polished timber floors and a room bathed in golden light. Our main dining room is available for exclusive hire.
