The Race Is On: Melbourne Cup At Little Valley

The Drinks

It doesn’t matter which package you’re partaking in this year, our Melbourne Cup experience ensures the drinks will be flowing.

Between 12pm and 4pm, our Melbourne Cup guests can look forward to a long afternoon of decadence inclusive of Sapporo Golden Lager (our official event sponsor), G.H Mumm bubbles, Chinese cocktails and more. The Service

If you’ve previously dined with us, you’ll know that unparalleled service is a fundamental pillar of our business.

You’ll experience the same level of dedicated hospitality Little Valley prides itself on when you join us this race day.

Guests of our $179PP Seated Banquet package will be treated to full table service throughout the full 4 hours, while our professional front-of-house team tend to our guests partaking in our $129PP Canapé Package between 12pm and 4pm.


The Entertainment

Midnight Tango

Fresh from lighting up Sydney’s Omega Seamaster Diver event at Bondi Icebergs, Midnight Tango will be providing the soundtrack for our inaugural Melbourne Cup soireé. The duo, comprised of DJ Jonathon Ford and David Flynn on trumpet have been a staple of Brisbane’s social calendar in previous years, bringing their trademark sound to events such as the annual Fish Lane Festival and the James Street Food & Wine Trail.

We’ll also be rolling out all the Melbourne Cup staples such as sweeps, Fashions Off The Field and full coverage from Flemington throughout the venue.


The Canapés

Guests for our standing premium package will be treated to some of the finest canapés on offer anywhere this race day. Think freshly shucked oysters, cured scallops with chilli oil, Peking Duck spring rolls, Prawn Truffle Har Gow, prawn toast with galangal, Sichuan mayonnaise and more).


The Banquet

Head Chef Jake Pregnell has put together an impressive dining experience, commencing with freshly shucked oysters before working through a generous selection of Little Valley’s most popular menu items. The package is rounded off with cured Duck Breast (pictured), fermented Umeshu plum, pickled Kohlrabi, and a chocolate tablet with wattle seed and candied ginger.
